QuanEcon DataScience in Julia

Are there any plans to publish a Julia version of QuantEcon DataScience?

Hi @sbac , not that I know about. @jlperla might know more. We’re all busy so it’s hard to find time.

Thanks for the interest. Probably not from us anytime soon. I am a big fan of choosing the best tool for the job, and find python to have an outstanding ecosystem for datascience (both classic stuff and deep learning). While I don’t really like the language itself, R is also a great choice, to me at least, because it has many of the best packages (except with deep learning).

Julia has lots of good packages and has made progress, but it isn’t comparable yet for those tasks. For undergrads with little programming experience (of which those lectures are targeted) it probably isn’t the best choice.
